He has initiated and defended many lawsuits on behalf of general contractors and subcontractors concerning payment disputes, as well as time and disruption claims. Michael routinely represents project owners, universities, public utilities, EPC contractors and sureties. While Michael has successfully prosecuted and defended cases to their conclusion, either at trial or arbitration, his practice largely focuses on contract drafting, dispute avoidance, mediation, and alternate dispute resolution to achieve the best results for his clients.
Michael has also worked on matters concerning complex water treatment facilities, city high-rises, solar projects, high-speed rail projects, residential construction defect claims, and easement and boundary line disputes.
