Emil Forsblad is a Paralegal with Ralls Gruber & Niece LLP. In 2001 Emil earned an undergraduate degree in Business Management from UC Santa Cruz with honors. Subsequently he obtained his paralegal certificate from the California State University East Bay. Emil has worked full time at Ralls Gruber & Niece since 2013. Emil has considerable experience with document management in cases involving dozens of parties and large productions of electronic data. He also prepares attorneys for depositions, including factual research and exhibit selection and analysis. Emil also has experience in the courtroom and has been at counsel table for multiple jury trials and other evidentiary proceedings.
Emil has experience with the electronic filing systems used by a variety of course, including multiple matters designated as complex. Emil is at the center of the firm's discovery work. In addition to drafting discovery requests and responses, Emil spearheaded the firm's use of modern software for document production, review, organization, and security.
Frequently taking a leading role in the preparation of graphics and PowerPoint presentations, Emil has participated in the presentation of electronic evidence and graphics during jury trials, arbitrations, and mediations. Emil continues to supplement his education with MCLE classes, emphasizing trial preparation and legal technology.
In his spare time, Emil enjoys cooking, golf, music, and spending time with his young son.
